Tubing Conveyed Perforation (TCP)
When drilling a well, to ensure well bore integrity, and to isolate each rock formation from each other, the wellbore is lined with metal (casing) and cement placed between the casing and the formation to create a seal. TCP pierces holes in the casing, through the cement and into the formation. This allows communication between reservoir and well bore, thus allowing it to flow.
